MAJOR TOM VIDEO:
The “Major Tom” music video has been in the making for 3 years, but is now finished and posted. This creation took place in my living room, and to be honest, I was so glad when the shooting was over and I was able to tear everything down. The main prop was the spaceship's cockpit. It was constructed from a wood and foam frame, including all sorts of electronics parts, gadgets and face plates, either purchased or 3D printed. It was wired, lit up, recieved a couple of display monitors and even a working 8-track player ! I modified a toy astronaut helmet for realism, purchased a used flight suit and decked it out with various name tags. The filming used a mirrorless camera, green screens, lights, footage and a lot of editing. In time I was able to create a concept that worked for this wayward astronaut.
